The University President participates in the workshop Horizon 2020

Prof. Dr. / Ahmed Bayoumi – The University President - participates in the workshop "Horizon 2020 " which will be held in Cairo, in the presence of the Egyptian universities presidents and the adviser of the Minister of Higher Education for International Cooperation and Agreements, as well as the Ambassador of the European Union in Cairo in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and UNESCO. This event will bring together about 150 policy makers, researchers, representatives of the academic and industrial communities, research institutes, technology transfer centers, technology incubators and all the research community's interests and innovation in cooperation between Egypt and the EU.

This event aims to

• Inform participants about Horizon 2020 and present its various components, with particular emphasis on Wp2018-2020 calls for proposals.

• Provide guidance with how to apply for Horizon 2020.

Lectures in the workshop-:

Prof. Dr. / Mohamed El-Sayed El-Shennawy - Adviser to the Ministry of Higher Education for International Cooperation and Agreements.

HE. Ivan Surkos - Ambassador of the European Union in Egypt.

Dr. / Heba Jaber - Delegate of the European Union in Egypt.

 

The USC president will be accompanied by a delegation consisting of:

Prof. Dr. / Reem Al-Khudary – the director of the Office of International Relations.

Prof. Dr. / Shaden Muawiya – the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Prof. Dr. / Hani Hassan – the Vice Dean of Education and Students affairs at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. / Nashwa Soliman – the assistant Professor, at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
