SCU’s Community Service Council met to discuss how to eradicate the illiteracy problem

The Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities formed a committee to prepare a full study for the problem of eradicating illiteracy in Egypt and provide proposals on how the communication will be between the Egyptian Universities and the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education to find the best solutions to eradicate this problem.

While, the committee formation headed by Prof. Dr. El-Helaly El-Sherbiny – Former Minister of Education and included each of; Prof. Dr. Nazmy Abdelhameed – Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Services and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Emara – Vice President of University of Sadat City for Community Services and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Yousef Gharabawy – Vice President of South Valley University for Community Services and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Beblawy - Chairman of the Educational Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Ashour Emary – the Chairman of the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education and Prof. Dr. Maysaa El-Feky – Professor at Ain Shams University.
