Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi confirmed as the new President of the University of Sadat City

Following a specially convened meeting this Tuesday 21, Mar 2017, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Bayoumi as the new President of the University of Sadat City, who was lately a vice-dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Education and Students Affairs.

Dr. Bayoumi, was an internationally recognized researcher in Veterinary Medicine, achieved his Ph.D. degree from Suez Canal University after a joint fellowship at Giessen University – Germany.

Dr. Bayoumi considered the second President for the University following Prof. Dr. Salah El-Ballal – the Former President of USC, as well as Dr. Bayoumi served as vice-dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and a vice-dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

On his side, Bayoumi expressed his senior happiness for the confidence of the Egyptian President and the political leaders, and he expressed his sincere thanks to His Excellency and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and all those who sent congratulates to him. Dr. Bayoumi declared that “the position of USC’s President is a great duty in order to raise the University of Sadat City and to achieve a remarkable success in short time, this success will be achieved due to its staff, its students and the support it has from the community and the Foundation.

Bayoumi is interested in an initiative in the world scientific research and education in the university as it has very high aspirations to become established as one of the great research universities, from these points, he is believed in all USC's Family to work as one team who are depends of A technological and scientific principles Keep pace with the requirements of modern times. Also, he pays particular attention to develop the regulations for the graduates and postgraduate studies, scientific research and complete the rest of the establishments of the University.

Regarding the surrounding community, Bayoumi promised that he will make no efforts to make this University an enlightening and civilized center that disseminates knowledge and knowledge throughout the community and he aspires to unite the efforts of community parties to promote the society and provide the services it deserves, especially, to establish the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital for Sadat City.

Finally, Bayoumi thanked all UCS’s Students, and promised them, all problems will be solved even it was an educational, medical or hosting at the dorms.
