USC appoints first Vice president for Community Services and Environmental Development

Eng. Sherif Ismael – the Prime Ministry – adopted the decree No. 1711/2017 to appoint Prof. Dr. Hamdy Omara as the USC’s Vice president for Community Services and Environmental Development.

With this decree, Dr. Omara considered as the first Vice president for Community Services and Environmental Development to serve at the University since 2013 the date of establishment.

It is worth mentioned that, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Omara – Professor at the Institute of Genetic Engineering and biotechnology Research – appointed as a vice dean of the Institute for Community Services and Environmental Development during the period of Mar 2009 till Mar 2012, then, appointed as the dean of the Institute from Oct 2011 till Oct 2014.
