GEBRI organized a medical convoy in collaboration with the community services sector

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi – the President of the University, a free medical convoy organized by the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research, in collaboration with the General Administration of Community Services and Environmental Development headed by Prof. Dr. Hamdy Emara – the Vice President of the University for Community Services and Environmental Development to detect the hepatitis C virus (HCV) on Saturday, 07 Oct 2017, for the People of Sadat City, at the headquarter of the Public Service Center.

 

In the faith of the role of the university in the surrounding community service and providing many services to the people of Sadat City, these convoys had been set, as a part of the Egyptian National Committee for the Combat of Hepatic Viruses (NCCHV), among the cooperation protocol between Board of Trustees of Sadat City Authority and the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research represented by Prof. Dr. Amal Abd El-Aziz – Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Shaden Moawya – Vice Dean of the Institute for community service and environmental development to assess the problem and find the best prevention and treatment measures.

Meanwile, the convoy supervised by Mrs. Nahed Barsiem – General Director of community service and environmental development administration. The Convoy held its medical tests for 30 cases.
