Merging the department of Organic Chemistry and the Department of Medical Chemistry

On 27 Sep 2017, The University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi - the University Acting President – approved on merging the Department of Organic Chemistry and the Department of Medical Chemistry to be under one department “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” at Faculty of Pharmacy, while the Council recommended the issue to the Supreme Council of Universities.
