USC’s President Receives Fulbright Delegation

On Tuesday the 21^st of March 2023, USC’s Acting President Dr. Shaden Muawia - received Dr. Maggie N. Nassif – Executive Director of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt, and accompanied delegation included; Dr. Ashraf Gomaa - Ministry of Higher Education Representative, Dr. Noha Salah – Program Officer, and Dr. Batoul Khaled – Assistant Program Officer to explore ways of strengthening joint cooperation between University of Sadat City and the Commission. This came in the presence of Dr. Sherif Ali – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, USC’s Deans and Vice Dean, Dr. Nashwa Saeed – Director of the International Relations Office.

For her part, Dr. Shaden Muawia welcomed the delegation of Fulbright Egypt, stressing her keenness to root out the means of permanent cooperation with the distinguished international authorities, with a view to developing scientific research and improving the quality of the educational process, constantly striving to develop the human element, and keeping abreast of global scientific developments in various fields.

From another hand, Dr. Maggie expressed her great pleasure at visiting USC and gave an induction presentation about Fulbright Scholarships in the United States of America for the academic year 2024-2025, which includes scholarships for Egyptian graduates, professors and professionals to study and conduct research and vocational training in the United States of America. In addition to giving American students and professors to teach and conduct research in Egypt.
