The University of Sadat City wins 6 medals at the first sports festival for people with disabilities at Benha University

The University of Sadat City received 6 various medals during participation in the first sports festival for students with disabilities for Delta universities held at Benha University, during the period from "6 - 9", September, with the participation of 8 universities, namely Benha, Sadat City, Helwan, Zagazig, Tanta, Menoufia, Kafr El Sheikh and Ain Shams. This was under the patronage of Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University of Sadat City, Dr. Khamis Mohammed Khamis, supervisor of the education and student affairs sector, and under the supervision of the technical staff of the team, Dr. Azza Al-Omari, Dr. Khalid Shawki, Mr. Hafez Zayed, Director of student care, and Dr. Bassem Hijazi, director of sports activity department. The University won 6 medals as follows: 2 gold medals in the 100m sprint and the shot put, 3 silver medals in the shot put students and shot put students and 100m sprint, and 1 bronze medal in the table tennis tournament students, and the team was honored and handed the medals by Dr. Nasser Al-Jizawi, president of Benha University, and Dr. Tamer Samir, vice President of Benha University for education and student affairs. For her part, Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University of Sadat City, praised the results achieved by the University team participating in the festival, which reflects the great attention paid by the university to the care of students with disabilities and their integration into university life, and even reflects the talents and abilities of students with disabilities in achieving this honorable achievement. It is worth mentioning that this sports festival is the first for people with disabilities in Delta universities and the Greater Cairo region, and aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship and exchange experiences between students at Egyptian universities, invest students ' energies and free time, and increase acquaintance between them.
