
Within the framework of the keenness of the Egyptian state, and the keenness of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to keep abreast of the latest global trends in the field of education, and in implementation of the national strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the vision of Egypt 2030, and the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic, and upgrading the educational system, and the state's orientation towards exporting Egyptian education and enhancing its presence regionally and internationally, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University of Sadat City, and Dr. Nashwa Suleiman, Director of the University's internationalization center, participated in the thirty-fifth international exhibition of Higher Education, held from September 9 to 12 in Sweden, with the participation of 25 Egyptian universities.
This exhibition is one of the most important international exhibitions to exchange experiences and ideas towards a better future for University Education and Scientific Research, and to strengthen academic cooperation, through the efforts of the Cultural Affairs and missions sector at the ministry, the Egyptian cultural office in Berlin, the Supreme Council of universities, and the universities' support and Development Authority. The representative universities were selected to ensure an active participation that reflects the quality of Egyptian Higher Education. The exhibition also features international participation of up to 250 universities from all over the world and is organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE)in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University, pointed out that the University's participation in the exhibition activities comes intending to highlight the development it has reached in academic and research fields, expanding the base of academic partnerships between it and other universities in various countries of the world, especially finding opportunities for international partnerships, opening up to global markets, attracting students to study, and expanding the scope of cooperation Academician.
She added that the participation of 250 universities from around the world and 25 Egyptian universities reflects the importance of this event, stressing the need to take advantage of this participation to enhance the international presence of Egyptian Educational institutions. She also pointed out that the main goal of the participation is to exchange experiences, highlight the image of Egyptian universities and their academic and research development, through direct meetings with foreign universities, to attract students to study at Egyptian universities, and to establish joint international partnerships.
"Muawiya" expressed that the presence of the University of Sadat City in this exhibition represents an ideal platform for displaying outstanding academic programs and innovative educational materials provided by the university, as well as reviewing international expansion plans through strategic partnerships, attracting international students, developing joint scientific research projects, in addition to studying opportunities to attract branches of prestigious international universities in Egypt and the acquisition of many scholarships for distinguished Egyptian students through joint research and educational partnerships between Egyptian and foreign universities.
