EGAC accreditation for ISRE Environmental Geology Laboratory

The University QACID Center announced that The Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) approved accreditation for the Environmental Geology Laboratory at the Environmental Studies and Research Institute in the field of estimating the concentration of metals in materials in the form of powder using X-ray diffraction according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Noteworthy, the Environmental Geology Laboratory one of the laboratories of Surveying of natural resources departments at the Environmental Studies and Research Institute – University of Sadat City.

The Laboratory has obtained the project of rehabilitating laboratories for international accreditation funded by the University of Sadat City and the Project Management Unit (PMU) in the Ministry of Higher Education.

Moreover, the lab performs mechanical, metallurgical and geochemical analysis of materials and soil - and characterization of nanomaterials and other new materials.
