The president of the University of Sadat City congratulates its faculties for obtaining advanced and most influential Arab scientific journals for the year 2024

Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University of Sadat City, presents on Tuesday, 22 October, her heartfelt congratulations, saying Congratulations to the faculties of the university "Faculty of Tourism and hotels, Faculty of commerce, faculty of Physical Education, Institute of Environmental Studies and research" and all university’s employees, praising this distinguished progress of our university in the field of scientific research and publications and wishing further progress and advancement through our efforts together in the Graduate Studies sector. It is worth mentioning that the scientific journal of the Faculty of Tourism and hotels has won the first place in the Arab region in the field of Tourism and hotels according to the ARCIF classification. The scientific journal of financial and Administrative Studies and research of the faculty of commerce also obtained the ninth place in the specialty of economic and financial Sciences and Business Administration out of the total 174 at the Arab level. The scientific journal of the faculty of physical education also received the eighth place in the specialty of sports sciences and physical education out of the total number of 35 at the Arab level. The Institute of Environmental Studies and research also ranked the University of Sadat City, in the field of earth, water and environmental sciences, out of the total number of journals 11 at the Arab level. It is worth mentioning that the criteria for the selection of magazines and their entry in the annual report of "ARCIF" include: - accessibility of the content (full text) of the magazine via the magazine's website. - The basic / technical standards of the Journal, which include the title of the Journal, the presence of a publisher for the journal, international numbering, the availability of policies and procedures on arbitration and publication and its ethics, the presence of an author for each article, the presence of contact data with the Journal, the presence of an editorial board, language integrity, issued for at least 3 years and still continuing to be issued and other standards . The evaluation of scientific journals according to the annual "ARCIF" report goes through four stages, the first stage includes preliminary screening, the second stage includes content sorting, the third stage includes content evaluation, and the fourth stage includes the impact factor report. It is worth mentioning that the criteria for selecting the most influential Arab authors were as follows: - the total number of citations obtained by the author (40%) - the number and distribution of countries of researchers citing the author's articles (30%) - the number of self-citations of the author (20%) - the number of articles published by the author in accredited journals in "ARCIF" (10%)
