The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine achieves position 201 in the international rating of Shanghai

Professor Dr. Shaden Muawiya, acting president of the university, announced the achievement of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine 201-300 internationally among 14 Egyptian universities in the International Classification of Shanghai 2024 in veterinary sciences.

It is noteworthy that the Shanghai Ranking is one of the most important global rankings, and it relies on five main indicators, where it ranks universities in 54 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The Chinese classification is based on five main criteria: research published in Q1 first quarter journals, the qualitative Citation rate for each branch, the percentage of research published in partnership with international researchers in various classification fields, the number of research published in the best international journals and conferences, and the number of faculty members who have received international awards in this field.
