جامعة مدينة السادات، جامعة مصرية حكومية مقرها مدينة السادات شمال غرب القاهرة الكبرى أنشئت في بادئ الأمر ككليات تابعة لجامعة المنوفية فى الفترة من 1993 حتى 2007 ثم تم أعتمادها كفرع لجامعة المنوفية له إدارة وكيان من 2007 وحتى 2013 العام التى تم انشاءها كجامعة مستقلة بموجب القرار الجمهوري من رئيس الجمهورية بتاريخ 25 مارس 2013.

Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University of Sadat City, congratulates the university professors selected by the university education sector committees for the new session 2025-2028, which will begin its work tomorrow, January 5, 2025 .
.Dr. Muawiya praised the academic community's confidence in the scientists who were selected among these committees and their ability to participate effectively in implementing the Egyptian state's Sustainable Development Goals and the axes of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, launched by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the secretariat of Dr. Mustafa Rifaat, Secretary of the council, approved the formation and definition of the competencies of the university education sector committees for the new session 2025-2028, which will begin its work starting from January 5, 2025, after the inclusion of the sector committees of private higher institutes of the Ministry of higher education; to unify education policies and university education, qualification and training in all Egyptian Higher Education Institutions.
The Supreme Council of universities has introduced in the formation of the new session of the committees of the sectors of university education, the Higher Committee of the committees of the sectors of university education, headed by the secretary of the Supreme Council of universities, and its membership includes scientific and academic figures, Dr. Hussein Mustafa Khaled (former minister of Higher Education), Dr. Ahmed Abdul Khalek (former minister of Higher Education), Dr/ Al-Hilali Al-Sherbini al-Hilali (former minister of Education), Dr. / Najla Anwar al-Ahwani (former minister of International Cooperation), Dr./ Maher Muhammad Ali al-damyati (former president of Zagazig University), Dr./ Mohammed Abdul Hamid Shaira (chairman of the technical committee for national projects to establish universities and educational and research institutions formerly at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research). The Higher Committee was tasked to work on developing and updating the working mechanisms of the university education sector committees continuously during the new cycle period, drawing up policies for the development and modernization of higher and university education, and developing a general framework for university education and scientific research, in coordination and cooperation with the concerned authorities, in the light of international scientific and academic standards, drawing up a working map for the development of scientific research mechanisms in Egyptian universities, and developing ways to strengthen the academic and the scientific companies with academic research, industrial and investment institutions inside and outside Egypt, and prepare a general proposal for the mechanisms of qualification and training of students, especially the stage Initial University and work to participate in scientific research, prepare for future jobs and entrepreneurship.
It was stated by Dr.Adel Abdul Ghaffar, media advisor and official spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said that the formation of the heads and secretaries of the sector committees of the Supreme Council of Universities was as follows:
First: the field of Arts and Humanities Arts & Humanities
1 - the arts sector: headed by Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed (professor at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University and head of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina) and the secretariat of Dr. Mohamed Naguib Ahmed Mahmoud al-tallawi (professor at the Faculty of Arts, Minya University).
2-Educational Studies sector: headed by Dr. Mohamed Dadour (former president of Damietta University) and the secretariat of Dr. Majid Mahmoud Abu al-anein (former dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University).
3-Antiquities and heritage sector: headed by Dr. Mamdouh Mohammed Gad al-Damaty (former minister of antiquities) and the secretariat of Dr. Alaa Abdel Mohsen Shahin (Faculty of Antiquities, Cairo University).
4-Arts and music education sector: headed by Dr. Aliya Mahmoud Abdul Hadi (professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts Helwan University) and the secretariat of Dr. Tarek Saleh sayed (Professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts Helwan University).

5-Language Studies sector: headed by Dr. Saleh Hashim Mustafa Abdul Razek (former president of the Union of Arab Universities) and the secretariat of Professor Dr. Ola Adel Mohammed Abdul Jawad (vice president of King Salman International University).
6-social service sector: headed by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Youssef Aliq (professor at the Faculty of Social Work, Helwan University) and the secretariat of Dr. Karim Hassan Ahmed Hammam (professor at the Faculty of Social Work, Helwan University).
