
Under the patronage of Dr. Shaden moawe, president of the University of Sadat city, and within the framework of the state's keenness to support the national industry and enhance the role of youth in national projects, University of Sadat city participated, today, Wednesday, 2025/5/21, by inviting the leadership of the popular defense forces and the military to participate in the opening events of the first phase of the future industrial city of Egypt in His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. For her part, Dr. Shaden moawe, president of the University of Sadat city, stressed that the university is constantly supportive of the state's initiatives and strategic directions, to enhance its role as an educational institution in building the Egyptian human being and actively participating in development plans, pointing out that a delegation of students from the University's youth participated in this great national event, where they expressed their pride in participating in this promising project, which is one of the pillars of the New Republic, and reflects the vision of the Egyptian state towards sustainable development and youth empowerment. "Muawiya" praised the vision of His Excellency President Sisi to benefit from the future of Egypt agricultural project, by opening wider horizons for other projects such as agricultural industrialization and the establishment of several factories, and complexes such as silos to absorb Egypt's bounties of yield and livestock development projects, stressing that the giant project will contribute to Egypt's self-sufficiency of strategic crops. She pointed out that the agricultural sector and the reclamation of desert lands witnessed unprecedented support from the political leadership to achieve food security in Egypt, as an integral part of the Egyptian national security. The participation of the University comes under the patronage of Dr. Shaden Muawiya, president of the University, Dr. Khamis Mohammed Khamis, supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs sector, and under the supervision of Mr. Hafez Zayed, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, the delegation was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Amir Yusri, director of the Department of Military Education at the University, Dr. Sayyed Badawi, director of Scouting sector, and the responsible for the Department preparing leaders, miss Rasha Abbas Abdel Fattah, and miss Hanan Abdulwahab Abdul Hamid Abdullah. In a related context, Colonel Dr. Baha Al-Ghannam, executive director of the future Egypt authority for Sustainable Development, delivered a speech in which he addressed the most prominent activities and projects of the agency, reviewing the developments of the "future Egypt Industrial City" project specialized in the field of agricultural manufacturing, targeting the reclamation of four million acres, including the addition of eight Thousands Acres reclaimed for the Egyptian agricultural patch by September, to become the total arable land in Egypt thirteen million acres by the year 2027, to ensure food security, increase exports of agricultural and food products and reduce Egypt's import bill for food commodities, which annually amounts to about twenty billion dollars. The speech also touched upon the efforts of the agency in the development of the livestock, poultry and fishery sector, in addition to its activities in mining and exploitation of quarry resources located in its affiliated lands, the authority is offering 30% of the shares of its subsidiaries on the stock exchange to expand the base of active participation and benefit from the fruits of development, taking into account that the volume of work of its subsidiaries in various fields. The company's activities were also reviewed in the fields of renewable energy production and digital transformation, the construction of grain storage silos, a refrigerator complex for cooling and freezing crops, a dryer factory and another for feed. During the event, President Al-Sisi witnessed, through the "video conference" technology, the opening of the harvest season in several agricultural sectors, including wheat harvesting in the South sector (east of Al-owainat), sugar beet harvesting in the South sector (Aswan), sugar beet harvesting in the Sadat sector, in addition to the opening of the headquarters of the future Egypt authority for sustainable development in Almaza.
