Future Cooperation between USC and CAF-BA

On Tuesday 27 Feb 2018, the University of Sadat City President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi received the Dr. Marwa El-Sahn – the Director of Center of Francophone Activities at Biblitotheca Alexandria, for discussing the joint cooperation between the two sides in establishing lasting partnerships that achieve cultural communication, intellectual and cultural exchange, by training students and organizing various cultural events.

The meeting attended by Vice Presidents of the University Prof. Dr. Hamdy Emara – Vice President for Community Services and Environmental Development and Prof. Dr. Hany Yousef – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Reem El-Khodary – Director of the Bureau of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Adel Tawfik – Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Mona El-Haroun – Vice Dean of Faculty of Education for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ghada Khairat – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Education and Student Affairs.

The Center of Francophone Activities was established in May 2013. It is affiliated with the Cultural Outreach Sector; one of the nine BA sectors. The center promotes the Francophone presence in the Alexandrian society, as part of its ambitious collaboration program with national and regional Francophone communities. It mainly focuses on the dissemination of the French language and culture, by providing scientific, cultural, educational, and intellectual support to Francophone institutions throughout Egypt and the region.
