New Protocol with El Menshawy Group for Logistics Services

Within the framework of the University efforts in solving the problems of industrial and productive institutions in our society, as the University has enough scientific and research expertise capable of meeting the needs of civil society, a protocol of cooperation had been signed between the University of Sadat City (USC) represented by the University President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi and El Menshawy Group for Logistics Services In the field of environmental conservation and reducing pollutants.
 

Under this protocol, which contained 13 articles, the most important is; the University will support the company in the field of scientific research and community services by providing the results of research, studies and environmental measurements as a contribution in development – as a part of the USC’s Mission towards the Community – subject to the regulations and laws in this regard. In other hand, the company will provide paper shredder machine with a capacity of 1000-2000 kg/hr, that offers a secure and convenient means of destroying paperwork and reduce the size of the total waste by shredding them into insignificant and compressed strips or confetti pieces, as well as, the company will buy the shredder papers to be recycled.

The protocol is aimed to reduce waste and carbon emissions, recycling locally and encouraging the use of biodegradable products.


Meanwhile, the meeting attended by the University Vice President for Community Services and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Hamdy Omara, the chairman of Sadat City Authority Eng. Mahmoud Ashour, the General Secretary of the University Mr. Radwan El-Qerm and the Chairman of El Menshawy Group Company Mr. Ashraf El-Menshawy and other members.
