The medical department before its construction, was a treatment unit at Faculty of Physical Education during the academic year 1993/1994 affiliated with the University of Menoufia, but due to the increase of the number of students at Sadat City branch, and the location of Shebin El-Kom is far to Sadat, The Unit has been upgraded to be a sub-management subsidiary to the Medical Affairs of the University of Menoufia, so in 1998, and after the issuance of the presidential decree for establishing of the University of Sadat City as an individual management University in March 2013, it became a medical administration belongs to the University of Sadat City.
