Prof. Dr. / Refai Ibrahim Refai – the vice president for post graduate studies and research – announced about a scientific symposium entitled "Arab economies after the 2010 repercussions and the aspirations of growth," organized by the Arab Research and Studies Institute, in November 2016.

The symposium aims to diagnose the reality of the Arab economies, such as in 2010, and become acquainted with the violent transformations that have gripped the country after 2010, and to benefit from the other's experiences in economic treating, presenting plans and new economic policies, cultural, political and social hiring in order to get out of the economic impasse, avoid the effects of sharp changes in global markets.

The symposium is based on several main themes (such as the Arab economic reality in 2010, the economic fallout after 2010, about to minimize the effects of events and building a new economic strategy).
